I watched Big Brother this summer along with many other people. If you had watched it you would understand the allure of Janelle Pierzina. This woman can be so many different things. A snob, girl next door, band groupie and above all good friend. There are not many people who watched the last two seasons of Big Brother who would disagree with me when I say she just kicks ass at any and all competitions. She just rocks!!

I just gotta say Janelle so deserved that award, she is a totally awesome reality star plenty of people these pass two summers seen her fight her way up to the top at the Big Brother game....So Janelle won that award cause she is the true reality star in that category.
Janie won because she has a huge internet fan base who love and adore her. If you watched Big Brother you would see her appeal where most beautiful women would be hated for being so beautiful fans fell in love with her personality and layers. She kicked butt and looked amazing while doing it.
I watched Will & Janie all summer and they are both awesome. Dr. Will was the winner of BB2 and Janelle got to the final three in BB6 & BB7 (BB7 was All-stars). Love them bothe and Big Brother has lots of fans. I've watched JAG, and BB is no JAG. Way to bring it home Janelle!

Big Brother is a crappy, shoddily produced Reality show that unfortunately all the bored and neglected housewives and lonely single women out there latched on to soley because they all want to be like Janelle.
These women have resorted to using cheat programs just so Janelle can win. They would spend hours upon hours voting, and probably neglecting their real lives and families in the process.
The truth is BIG BROTHER is possibly one of the worse reality shows out there and this all star season has brought out the worst in what little fanbase it has. Some of them have even behaved in a stalker like fashion because they believe Will and Janelle belong together and believe there is some sort of secret relationship between the two and a few fans have started to do a lot unstable and abnormal things just to find the truth.
One of them even took a leave of absence from their job because of this.
VH1 has some of the best REALITY shows on TV and the fans for those at least don't take their fandom to extremes.
I feel sorry for all the Big Brother Cast as this show obviously attracts alot of seriously unstable people who need help.
Yes, Janelle is smart and pretty but the majority of female fans have become like blind minions and its sad and pathetic to see fans lose themselves this way.

Janelle Pierzina is the best reality star ever. She is funny, beautiful, smart, and amazing at competitions. She dominated two season of CBS's popular Reality Show Big Brother and was a true All Star. She absolutly deserved to Win this award. Flavor Flav and Mario aren't Reality Stars they are washed up has beens that have tried to respark their careers with reality shows. They are not TRUE reality Stars, but Janelle is. Besides winning most of the competitions on the show, she also won EVERY America's Choice making her the most popular Big Brother contestent ever. Her "showmance" with fellow contesant and former Big brother winner Will Kirby, was not only the most entertaining part of the season, it spawn months of controvery and discussion over the future of this extremly charismatic couple. Maybe had Vh1 not dropped the ball and shown such a lame intro clip you could have seen what an amazing talent this sweet girl really is. Everyone expected Flav to win cause why? He's a Vh1 star...who cares, he never should have been in this catagory to begin with. This award was voted on by her fans, and she won...nuf said.

You would have had to watch the show to know who she is but she had a huge fan base. When America voted on Big Brother she won everything. I can see why she won, but any of them could have.

BB is a great, smart, show. I am a huge fan and I am both beautiful & smart. Big Brother has a huge fan base, because this year we had our 7th season, an All-Star Seasom! It was great, Mike "Boogie" won for Chilltown, and Janelle did a great job - she is awesome at the competitions! Dr. Will attended with her and she looked fantastic accepting the award. I also watched all four shows. Its no suprise at all that janelle won. Anyone who watches Big brother would know just how dedicated the fans are. There is a huge internet fan base!! Janelle has been on big brother two summers in a row and dominated both seasons. On big brother she won almost every americas choice award, competition, and had the highest popularity among her fellow contestants. If you saw the saw the show tonight you got to see a lot of Janelle because the from the start of the show she got a ton of close ups so the cameramen love her just as much as the fans.
What's a JAG? The only win that surprised me was Lonelygirl 15 .. I have no idea what she is, in fact I didn't know anything about any of the people in that category except Weird Al. I'm shocked the rabid AI fans didn't vote Chris Daughtry to win the reality award but whatever, I didn't vote but I watched all the reality shows mentioned and any one of them could've won. Big Brother may not make headline news but it was a BIG show this year. It was the All-Star season and say what you want but it got alot more ratings than Flavor of Love did numers wise.

Whether or not fans used voting gadgets for Janelle is immaterial - several of the other winners also mentioned their fans using them, it's a well-known phenomenon and accepted practice. Janie won the award because she won over so many viewers and internet fans during two seasons of Big Brother, where she showed amazing contest skills, and worked hard, while being the biggest target of the other competitors. Through it all, she kept her cool and unlike her competitors, did it with good humour and true grit. She's a great person and deserved her win.

She has completely captivated her audience like no reality star ever has before for two three month long, three show per week seasons over the past two years. She has attained an incredibly high degree of popularity among Big Brother fans and has maintained that popularity not only during those seasons, but also in between and afterward. The intensity, duration, and undiminishing strength of her popularity is unprecedented in reality TV. She may as well be the new DEFINITION of "reality star". Then there's Flavor Flav: he may have a cable show, but he doesn't come close to being as much of a reality star, when put next to Janelle. If you still don't understand, then you need to go back and watch Big Brother 6 and Big Brother All-Stars. Oh that's right, you think Big Brother is the "JAG" of reality shows. What?? First of all I had to do a search to find out what the hell "JAG" was. What the hell are you talking about?? Did you know, buddy (writer for VH1 about the reality award), that Big Brother was the very first reality television show on Earth when it (and thus reality television) was created in the Netherlands, and that now there are different Big Brothers in dozens of countries and languages all around the world? Did you know that it is a TRUE reality show (a given, of course, since it STARTED reality tv), as opposed to most "so-called" reality shows? I don't watch much network television (I do, occasionally watch PBS) because most stuff on TV is total, idiotic crap. But I do watch Big Brother and also Survivor because they are superior reality shows that require intelligence both to play and to watch them (ESPECIALLY Big Brother). Big Brother is like a marathon, psychological chess match that takes 3 months to play out. On top of that there are numerous competitions during the season that are so unlike other "so-called" reality shows because they require a whole lot of skill, intelligence, and an incredible memory for obscure details. Along with her magnetic, adorable personality, this is where our Janelle really shined. You might have thought it was her hair, her looks (or her boobs, as was mentioned in the silly description during the reality award presentation). Well she's beautiful, no question, but that is not the first and foremost reason why America loves her so much, little did you know. You need to watch Big Brother and find out for yourselves why Janelle deserved this award more than any other reality star over the past 2 years. Heck, she deserves it more than anyone for a lot longer than that and quite possibly even for all of reality TV history. I suppose for someone who never watched Big Brother it would be hard to understand Janelle Pierzina's popularity. Beauty is one thing, but Janelle also has that spark you find in really charismatic people. When watching her I often thought of Gracie Allen. I'm sure many of your readers are much too young to remember George Burns and Gracie Allen. Her humor and wit are one of the main things that attract an audience to her.

As far as her fans go, the other contestants had equal opportunities with their fans to win and bottom line is they did not have enough votes to pull it off.
The rest of the silly comments made about Janelle's boobs, hair, etc...are just...silly...especially in Hollywood.

The fact that you even know about the Janie message boards, the existence of WMNA, Hellatazm and her devoted fans make you guys creepy lurkers. Very few people who did not watch the live feeds realize the subculture that has resulted from BBAS. So I ask you guys, why did you come to this specific blog (I came here from a link posted at a BBAS fan site) unless you are obsessed. You guys are messed up. I don't see where anyone slandered Janie. These co called haters have posted that they like Janelle. What is most apparent is that they have experienced the wrath of some of her more obsessed fans.
My wife is a hardcore Janelle fan but some of the tactics from some of her fans turned her off from ever posting on any Big Brother forum again. Oh and my wife voted for her once and I did too. You see we have lives outside the show and it wouldn't set an example to our kids if we used a cheat to vote for her.

Of course Janelle deserved to win. think it's pretty sad that VH1 would question whether the girl deserved to win or not. The bottom line is that she won, who cares and obviously she was doing something right in order to get people to vote for her. Maybe next year don't allow people to vote over and over. If that is not an option then quit whining just because Flav didn't win. I like Flav, but he lost...get over it. That Janelle was beautiful and deserved her win, no need to trample all over it VH1.

Big Brother fans are not surprised to see Janelle Pierzina kick butt yet again - she did it 2 summers in a row in the BB House!! Was there ever any doubt she would win the VH1 Award as well?? Rocking the vote was SUPERFUN!!
I would never have known of, or watched the VH1 awards had Janie not agreed to attend. I had to look up vh1's channel number. They are damn lucky Janie was nominated, maybe more people will become aware of this cable channel. Janelle was really the only logical nominee for reality star. I've never heard of two of the nominees, as I've no admiration or interest in American Idol, what with the atrocious songs so far removed from art, and a dancing show, with partners!? As it's been so aptly put, "some people dance cheek to cheek, and some people DANCE!" I was prompted to respond because of some ridiculous sour grapes and pseudo-meritocratic posts. The two most responsible turn, rather predictably though foolishly to ethical arguments, (Janie should not win Best Reality star because she broke up with boyfriends?) Glad you both married the boy you kissed in 2nd grade, how's it working for you? (Or rather, maybe you've never had any sort of relationship, are you Nuns for Flav?) And Roxxee, (which could only be a stripper's stage name) slanders Janie's morality in favor of Flav!? (ICK!)
I do understand that the Big Brother experience is inclusive of the live feeds. Simply watching 3 times a week does not do the game justice, the point of Big Brother is quite simply one step beyond television viewing, and, I gather, one step beyond dee's and Roxxee's mental capacity)

Wow! For people to not know who she is the cameraman sure did manage to get Janelle on screen quite a bit. I saw here more than your precious "A list" celebs.
Janelle won by about 2 million votes that should tell you just how much she is loved by America. She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She is the best BB player of all time and has won the hearts of America for two summers in a row. She and Will Kirby made many people remember what true romance is again with their showmance and Janelle kept us on the edge of our seats with her competitive spirit. She won more competitions than any other BB player ever. If I was in a burning building I would want her by my side. Maybe you should research the nominees on the Reality segment of the show before writing negative comments about anyone of them.

This blog is annoying. Why would VH1 nominate her then trash her on it's website? I have known Janelle all my life. She is kind inside as well as outside. She has a wonderful family, and I hope Big Brother is around until 2017 and we can see her lil' sis' Ang on it. VH1 - Dee - Roxxee: you don't know her, so why diss her. 10 million viewers know her for her kick-ass play on BB. She is loyal to her friends and grateful to her fans. After reading again the initial instigation , written by VH1, no less, I am positive the majority of the audience didn't say "Who 'dat'" If they had, it is rhetorical as I do not believe anyone named Dat was nominated, and the announcement of the winner was clearly for Janelle, not this write- in candidate "Dat."
I just watched again, and the crowd cheered Janelle, so the "who dat" crap must have originated with a pea brain that uses the word "dat," and views placement in the tiny realm of vh1 is indication of importance. Again, had Janie not agreed to grace this fourth rate award show with her presence, the ratings would have been abysmal. I dare say most had to consult guides to find the location of this upstart "channel." Obviously, Janie should never had wasted her time on such a piddling cable enterprise, but, she is above all else, charitable. Two of the winners mentioned it in their acceptance speeches, and I'm sure there were many more who had cheat programs used for them. I don't think that should discredit this girl's win since VH1 said to vote as many times as you like. If VH1 had an issue with who would have won it's categories, they should have:
1. Had a board decide who the winners would be in the categories and not allow for public voting.
OR
2. As you mentioned, only have people vote for their faves once.
Unfortunately, VH1 allowed for cheat programs and multiple voting so it seems really silly of them to be now whining because who they wanted to win didn't. I really enjoy Janelle she is funny and great at comps. Why if I am a fan of hers that makes me crazy? Just because I posted a comment here doesnt make me insane without a real life if that was the case then anyone who posted, wrote or put up this blog is in the same position.

The few times I've watched Big Brother, Janelle is the one that turned me off from it. I find her so fake. I'm not surprised she won considering who her competition was. Mario Lopez? Whatever. This isn't 1991. Flavor Flav? It's not 1989 either. Chris Daughtry? Gross. What an awful year in reality television.
Not sure why you think Mario was robbed...after all, VH1 counted the votes...and let's get real, Janelle wasn't the only candidate whose fans used auto-voting...others even thanked their fans for it. As far as Mario goes...a man who cheats on his wife on his honeymoon...no thanks...I would rather NOT vote than vote for him.

Enough people watch the show and voted to get her nominated and win. Flavor Flav I had never heard of him and he is a nothing compared to Janelle and Will. I didn't auto vote but you know that McPhees fans also auto voted. I bet even if they had limited voting to five Janelle would of won. She has very loyal fans and she treats her fans as friends. HELLO! Janelle cheated on one boyfriend last year with michael and her other boyfriend this year with will.
If this blog is an example of the way guests of Vh1 are treated when they are invited over, then the award shows in the future should be lonely places. Why in the world would anyone place themselves in a position to be insulted by their host? Why should anyone show up to be ridiculed and belittled by an obviously uninformed writer? If the writers Vh1 hires to keep the public informed are so out-of-it they don't even know whom they are inviting over then how can anyone believe they have even the remotest clue about what is in, hot or interesting?
This just proves the theory that just because you think something doesn't make it worth talking (writing) about.
Janelle was an amazing player, she showed great sportsmanship and loyalty, gave proof to not judging a book by it's cover, and showed courage and played with her heart when she was actually hurt by it. She showed loyalty to others that didn't deserve it (but she had promised so kept her word), didn't trash talk like all the others did about her, she had humor and spunk, and tried to never act ungrateful for the chance to play......... these are things few BB players ever show. The house makes people go to a very mean part of themselves if it is in them, Jainie never got that way. She played a relatively clean game against incredible odds, and did it with a commendable attitude, we appreciated finally having a houseguest play that way. And as an added bonus she is a pretty, smart and genuinely nice person. Her fans are loyal because she is, we don't turn away off-season, because she stayed loyal to us.
Her real fans know the show and claim on her time is over and wish her well. I am glad she got the confirmation of her place in BB history and the game to get the recognition she deserved by her fans. A loving cup seems appropriate.
I hope Vh1 and it's affiliates have the intelligence to research their nominees in the future, it just looks stupid for you guys to nominate people then claim to not know them, especially if you want us to think you know wtf you are talking about when you say what is in or out.
I say the writer of this blog is definately NOT IN in any year.
Janelle wasn't nominated by VH1. She was nominated by her fans on an open ballot. They have every right to talk about her the way they do.
It doesn't really matter how she was nominated, the fact remains she won.
