It wouldn't be a great awards show without some great music. Nope, we don't have Beyonce performing the song from Brokeback Mountain. Or Robin Williams doing a comedy version of "Life is a Highway" from Cars. Or an all-star tribute to "jazz." Instead, we've got four of the most essential artists today. Get the straight dope about ‘em right here:
- Fergie has turned "flash clubbing" into a fine art. According to the New York Daily News, she turned up at the Marquee early Thursday morning, danced like a dervish for a full 15 minutes, then left.
- The Fray's guitarist tells the Philippines that the chart stars picked their name from a fishbowl.
- The Killers get a new No. 1 fan … Coldplay's Chris Martin.
- "Weird Al" Yankovic spills his guts in Australia. And who's funnier? "Weird Al" or Tenacious D?
- And a very special appearance by Mr. Dennis De Young. Seriously, what's this guy gonna do? Perform his greatest hits with David Hasselhoff? Duet with "Weird Al"?
See them do what they do best on December 3, when the Big in '06 awards come to your TV set!
